Abstract:This paper summarizes the breed formation and beef characteristics of Yanbian yellow cattle and the current situation of slaughtering and processing in Yanbian Prefecture, northeast China’s Jilin Province, and analyzes some factors limiting the development of Yanbian yellow cattle. This review will provide directions for future development of this industry in Yanbian.
