Abstract Due to factors such as price, raw material, allergy and otherwise, meat adulteration is very popular on the market. In recent years, a variety of analytical techniques for detection of meat adulteration have been reported. This review focuses on some of the current rapid detection techniques dominantly based on ELISA.
